E-mail Marketing Specialist
Full-Time remote schedule availablefor candidates residing outside of NJ Join a dynamic marketing team committed to supporting the IEEE mission of fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity by driving brand, demand, customer engagement, lead generation, event promotion, sales enablement and more.
As a member of the marketing team, you will develop and implement integrated product marketing campaigns and other lead generation activities using a multi-channel media approach that drives sales and usage of IEEE content, subscription products and publications delivered by the IEEE Xplore digital library and other platforms.
Your primarily responsibility will be to develop and deploy cross-sell/upsell marketing tactics focused on current customers, while also assisting with DemandGen activities to prospects in all markets and increasing author awareness of publishing opportunities in IEEE journals. following strategy developed by the Demand Generation Marketing Manager and the rest of the Product Marketing team,
Manage multiple activities to help generate new sales and support cross-sell/upsell activity for IEEE online products; analyzing campaign results and making recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs. Success in this role requires familiarity with e-mail marketing, as well as digital advertising, social media marketing, SEM/SEO, CMS, marketing automation, CRM tools and best practices.
* Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent experience in marketing or business related field
* 2 – 4 years of related experience preferably in a B2B marketing or sales environment
* Experience with e-mail marketing campaigns essential
* Experience with e-mail marketing software and customer relations or lead management software
* Strong writing and proofreading skills for marketing copy
* Knowledge of HTML/XHTML, CSS
* Strong proofreading, organizational and analytical skills
* Familiarity with Google Analytics and Content Management System(CMS), WordPress preferred
